LinkedIn Empire State Building

Serving as the visual handshake to the third-floor reception and a high-traffic amenity hub, the space fosters connection, collaboration, and community while celebrating both New York City and LinkedIn's mission to create opportunity.

The design narrative draws a parallel between LinkedIn's mission to create opportunity and New York City's legacy as a place where ambition becomes reality. This shared sense of possibility informed the environmental graphics, weaving the story throughout the space.

The program includes architectural installations, curated artwork, environmental graphics, and an in-person art workshop for LinkedIn employees.

Wood Relief Mural

A celebration of New York's five boroughs and the unique connections that brought them to LinkedIn NYC.

Designing Every Detail

Creating the look of a carved wood relief required careful testing and refinement. The final piece layers transparent printing, etched details, and precision cut-through elements to create depth and dimension.

Glass Partition Wall

Inspired by the many pieces that come together to make up NYC, the partition wall integrates a mosaic-style to celebrate the city's collective identity.

Custom Printing Workshop

ERL flew to NYC to lead a hands-on workshop where employees could pull their own prints, layer custom stamps, and take home artwork of their own—culminating in a large-scale, team-built artwork.

Local Artist Curation

Our team curated a series of artists who each reflect a unique aspect of the New York experience.
