Artwork

The Lab's foundation is our shared experience as visual artists. Our approach always starts with exploration. By exploring first, we create interventions that become an extension of our creative process and highlight the unexpected. The artwork we produce stretches from the gallery to large-scale public art installations, but we approach all works with the same mindset.

  • We create public art with the intention of creating an experience that is interactive and timeless.

  • Our work is at home in a storefront or smuggled into the fine art world. With experience creating both temporary and permanent exhibitions, we don't only aspire for framed artwork on a gallery wall.

  • Creating an art object is rarely the goal but instead is a natural byproduct of our continuous experimentation.

  • Seattle Bridge Lights

Lighting Installation for the City Of Seattle.

In recognition of more than 100 years in operation, Seattle’s Fremont Bridge hired us to create a permanent lighting experience as part of an artist & residency program. The lighting design changes to reflect seasonal, solar, and lunar patterns throughout the year.
