Objects

Bold experiments that merge material and form to create unique objects. They answer as well as ask a variety of inquiries depending on their context. Hand crafted to live in a multitude of spaces from galleries, workplace, retail, to residential. The lab always produces objects with a human touch and a futuristic vision.

  • Works ranging from “failed” experiments from the Lab archives to highly-refined pieces of sculpture and everything in between.

  • Immersive digital projections, VR/AR, Web 3.0... We dabble in all that.

Past Work

  • Hotline Bling

    Dial - Speak - Print.

Transcribing the spoken word into the permanence of print explores our relationship to the weight of our words. Having our words captured and documented — forever out of reach — asks us to be purposeful with our thoughts and expressions.

Hotline anonymously prints voice and text messages, adding to an evergrowing archive of statements, confessions, and comments as a reflection of us that exists for others to see.

  • Absorbing Forms

Inspired by building blocks found in nature throughout the region. Fractals and The Golden Ratio are prevalent in plant species, mountain ranges, and landscapes famous found along the central coast. The material of acoustic foam draws parallels between absorbing ideas to sound.

  • Low-Tide Vignettes

Created for LinkedIn. Ecosystems signify the way in which LinkedIn builds connections and fosters collaboration. Illustrated themes showcased in the form of vignettes told the story of their California HQ. They used these vignettes as framed prints, wallpaper, and glass manifestations.
