Spaces
The Lab isn't beholden to a single design aesthetic or process by its very nature. Instead, we use each project as an opportunity to evolve and develop our ideas based on the project requirements and goals.
-
Looking at your space through an artistic lens but built from architecture backgrounds
-
We are not all about what most see as typical branding such as your logo in neon lights. While your space should showcase your brand, we manifest your ID in physical form.
-
We can act as designers that work alongside an architect’s vision or are fully hands-on from design to installation. Either way, our background in both D+B, lighting, and spatial design allow us to consult and take an idea from a client into something that fits the function.
East Trading Company - Bar Design, Branding, Artwork. Created while at Electric Coffin.

Dynasty Room
Bar and Event Space Pop-Up in Seattle’s International District.
In collaboration with Board and Vellum while working at Electric Coffin. This project was designed to revitalize a historic space that was being demolished within a year. We created an environment and storyline that took patrons on a journey into the Dynasty Room. Almost every aspect of the space was created with experience at the core of the design.

SeaLevel Yoga
Seattle yoga studio re-brand and design
Creating a brand that reflects the roots and style of the founders. The studio was created to feel natural and modern with a playful twist. From the large reclaimed wood sign at the entrance to the outdoor sauna step out of the hustle and bustle and relax. The rooftop view of the Olympic Mountains and Salish Sea was framed to call out the natural beauty.

LinkedIn Carpinteria
Created while at Acrylicize studio.
Inspired by the Central Coast and location of LinkedIn HQ. Each floor focused on design themes that highlighted LinkedIn’s brand values and spoke to themes of their local region. From the “Low-tide Lounge” workspace to the entrance experience each space’s design reflected its function.
